Sponsorship

The Student Journals offers UK university students a unique way through to journalism. Not only does it give them the chance to express their own opinion, it also gives students opportunities that they would not have otherwise, such as the chance to interview well-known personalities, attend press conferences, film premieres and theatre shows.

Our main aim for receiving sponsorship currently is so that the site can pay for the development of the website and once we manage to do that, then go on to advertise more heavily at various universities and even to schools and sixth-form colleges. It is only through getting more people aware of the site that we can truly succeed in our mission of giving all students a platform and helping them to express their opinion on such a large scale.

Sponsoring The Student Journals has great benefits, including reaching a large student population and you will appear on all marketing material as well as on the website. If you prefer, you can also sponsor specific sections. Not only do we reach students through our website but we also reach a large number through Facebook and also through stalls when we cover large student events.

Advertising

The Student Journals is a website with a vast readership of UK university students. In order to keep the website running at no cost for these students as well as to expand, we feel that it is necessary to keep advertisements throughout the site.

If you are interested in advertising on the website, either email the editor at advert@thestudentjournals.co.uk or look at the prices and sizes below. We price our adverts depending on whether you would like them to be on the site for a month, or a certain number of impressions. We can offer discounted rates for longer-term advertisements also.

Rotational banner (top of every page) - £75 (per month)

 

Skyscraper (side of articles):

234×60 - £50 (per month or £5 (per thousand impressions)

234x120 - £60 (per month or £7 (per thousand impressions)

160×600 - £80 (per month) or £12 (per thousand impressions)

Student societies seeking sponsorship

Unfortunately we are not in a position to give monetary sponsorship to student societies. However, if you running a large event (one day or weekend), then please do email us at sponsorship [at] thestudentjournals.co.uk and we will consider your application to be the media partner for your event. We are the official media partners for TEDxWarwick and would love to be helping more students get the coverage that they deserve.
